Who doesn’t love the nostalgia of a Carousel Ride? We were inspired by vintage carousels when we styled this super adorable party!
Vintage Carousel Party
Maggie and I came up with the idea of setting the Carousel dessert table under a gorgeous ribbon tent, reminiscent of the gorgeous roof tops of vintage carousels. We hung a few of our Tulle Pom Poms to add a whimsical touch to the Tent. The focal point of the dessert table was a gorgeous antique Carousel Horse that I had bought for my daughter’s room a few years ago. On each side of the table we placed the most darling handmade Carousel Centerpieces which are made exclusively for Via Blossom and are available for purchase at the shop, here. There are two items from the carousel collection that I personally love: the Carousel Banner and Carousel Cupcake Toppers. They completed the vintage feel of the table and added a touch of pastel colors to the party.… Read more

Sound the Alarm!! We are so excited to share the cutest Firefighter Birthday Party ever! It was styled by Maggie for our adorable nephew who turned two! If you have a little one at home who loves firetrucks and making Fire Alarm sounds, then this is the party for you!
Firefighther Birthday Party
Our little nephew loves to play with his firetruck and whenever he hears a firetruck alarm or sees a real firetruck, he starts applauding with excitement!! Coming up with a party theme for his 2nd Birthday came so easy to our Baby sister Gaby, who asked Maggie to help her style the dessert table for the party. Gaby, is actually expecting her second child and was experiencing the not so fun fatigue and nausea of the first weeks of pregnancy so Maggie came to the rescue! Maggie made sure the dessert table had the firefighter details that Gaby had in mind like Fire Hydrants, Firetrucks, Firemen Hats etc… To set the tone for this Firefighter Birthday Party, she DIYed the fire flames back splash by attaching card-stock flames to a black wooden frame. I love how cute it turned out!… Read more

I am so excited to share today my daughter’s 5th Birthday!! Last year, she was a whimsical Fairy that danced around a Maypole with her fellow Fairy friends. Remember Sophia’s Enchanted Fairy Party? This year she partied like a Flamingo with her Pre-K bestie, Charlotte, who also celebrated her 5th birthday!
Flamingos and Pineapples Birthday Party
Sophia’s favorite animals are Flamingos for obvious reasons: They are Pink. Sophia loves Pineapples, especially in the summer. When I suggested to her that we could do a Flamingos and Pineapples Birthday Party Theme, she was ecstatic! Her two wishes were that she wanted bright colors and also lots of fun music and dancing. After weeks of planning, we learned that Sophia’s Friend, Charlotte was not able to celebrate her 5th Birthday because just like Sophia, she was born during the Christmas Holiday Break. I always celebrate half birthdays for Sophia because I love warm outdoor parties and there’s usually too much going on during Christmas break. So, sweet Charlotte and her family joined us in this double the fun celebration!… Read more
I had the honor to style a birthday party for a precious little girl named Drayton who loves horses, so a Cowgirl Birthday Party was a perfect choice for the Party Theme. The breathtaking country setting was ideal for the celebration: Scenic lake views, a bonfire for smores, pony rides and a petting zoo!
Cowgirl Birthday Party
We gave the party a rustic, vintage feel thanks to the props we chose: a gorgeous lace tablecloth over burlap, hobnail vases, wood slices and metal tin planters. The gingham Cupcake Wrappers and Flower Cake Pops also added a country touch to the Cowgirl Theme. Of course, caramel apples were a perfect treat for the kids and the sunflower arrangements added a fun pop of color to the table. We spray painted some horses in gold and pink and also displayed two beautiful brown horses that held a white daisy flower.… Read more

Ice Cream Party
There’s no better way to celebrate warm sunny days than with an Ice Cream Party! It’s one of those Party Themes that is certainly enjoyed by children and adults alike…Who doesn’t LOVE Ice Cream? The Ice Cream dessert table was the focal point of the party. Maggie and I had a blast baking and preparing all the Ice Cream inspired Treats. The Ice Cream Cake was actually a delicious marble cake. We also made ice cream cone cupcakes, ice cream cone chocolate pops, cherry on top cake pops and a sundae toppings bar.… Read more
Today I’m sharing some photos of my daughter’s Enchanted Fairy Party. I was so honored to be featured on none other than the Hostess with the Mostess Blog.
My daughter Sophia is obsessed with fairies. As soon as she gets home from pre-school she puts on her tutu and fairy wings and submerges herself in the magical world of Fairies. For her 4th Birthday choosing her Party theme came so easily: “I want an Enchanted Fairy Birthday!”
The dessert table décor had a lot of natural elements like flowers, butterflies, woodland animals, green moss and woodsy props.… Read more
When my sister Maggie asked her daughter Isabella about a Theme for her Birthday, she replied “I want lots of bright flowers and I would love to eat my favorite food: Tacos!!” We instantly knew that a Mexican Fiesta was the perfect party theme for her 9th birthday celebration!
Our mother’s tropical back yard was the ideal setting for the party because of all the exotic plants. We recreated a “Taqueria” or Taco Stand for all the savory foods and drinks. We served homemade mini tacos, bite size burritos and cones filled with chips in our Mexican Fiesta Food Truck. We also served fresh guacamole and salsa. The guests had a choice of watermelon-lemonade and authentic Mexican soda served in our plastic soda bottles. We made flower arrangements with colorful glass bottles and tin cans. The mini cactus plants added a fun Mexican touch to the stand. Our Taqueria sign was handcrafted and painted by us and the yellow pompom garland added the final touch!… Read more
