Dip it!…Make it Blossom!

We’re thinking Chocolate Dipped Cherries for Valentine’s Day!  Super Easy to make, yummy and adorable when paired with our Heart Petite Cups.

What a great alternative to the typical Valentine’s Chocolate Strawberries.  I styled them by placing them on our Heart Petite Cups from our Be my Valentine! Collection.  Lovely!

What you’ll need:

Two 10 oz. jar of Maraschino Cherries with stems

One bag of Semi- Sweet Chocolate Chips

A 12 oz. bag of Pink Candy Melts

Step 1

Strain the Cherries and pat them dry with a paper towel.  Water and chocolate do not go well together, so make sure that they are as dry as possible to achieve a nice coating.

Step 2

Put your Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips in a microwave safe bowl.  Cook on high at 30 seconds intervals, stirring very well each time.  I find that stirring is the secret to successful melting.

Step 3

Dip all your cherries in the Chocolate and place them in parchment paper.  Refrigerate them until the chocolate has fully harden, about 20 minutes.

Step 4

Repeat step 2 and 3 with the Pink candy melts.
