DYI: Pirate Ship

Maggie and I have been working, for some time now, on introducing a brand new Party Theme to the Shop:  Pirates!  It’s a classic theme and by far one of our all time favorites.  And to make the launch of our new Pirate Collection even sweeter we are showing you today an adorable Pirate Ship DIY.

Pirate-Ship-Petite Cups

You’ll need: Black and White Polka Dot Petite Cups, Cake Pops, Jute Rope, Cello Paper, Bamboo Skewer, Foam Cube,  Black Scrapbook Paper, White Paper, Stickers and Scissors.

Collage-#1

1- Trace an Hour Glass shape on your white paper to make a sail pattern.

2- and 3- Transfer the Sail pattern to your Black Scrapbook paper and cut.

4- Place the Sail Cutout on the Foam Cube and make two holes with the bamboo skewer (top and bottom).

5- Place a Pirate Skull and Crossbones Sticker on the black Sail. You can buy them, here.

6- and 7- Make a rustic knot on the Cake Pops with the Jute Rope.

8- Insert the Cake Pop through the 2 holes of the Sail and then place it on the Black and white Petite Cups.
