Welcome to Unicorn Land where Candies and Rainbows collide! I had so much fun styling this Rainbow and Unicorn Birthday Party with my daughter Sophia! The ideas that a 6 year old can bring to the table are just so fun and creative. I got her involved in every aspect of the idea process and execution of her birthday party. After all it’s her birthday!
Sophia’s vision was to create a land where Unicorns could live. She told me that Rainbows were a must and that Unicorns only eat candy so she chose Unicorn Land for her theme. She told me that she wanted a fun and very colorful birthday with lots of music and dancing. I embrace all of her ideas and created a super fun modern Rainbow and Unicorn Party for my very creative not so little anymore daughter.
The dessert table had a 2 tiered cake decorated with delicious and colorful Candyfetti from Sweet Indeed and a glitter Unicorn Cake Topper from the Shop. Our Cupcakes were also decorated with Candyfetti and topped with a sugar rainbow. We also added delicious Unicorn Candy Kabobs by Sweet Indeed for a delicious fun touch to our dessert station. The girls literally devour them! We also added a gorgeous Unicorn Garland to table.
The Kids Table had two Candy Stands from the shop loaded with Sophia’s favorite candy from gummies, to jelly beans to Taffy! At the end of the party each guest was able to “shop” for Candy in Unicorn Land by filling treat bags with their favorite sweets. Boy they had fun filling those treat bags! We also added the coolest Rainbow plates, Cups and Napkins from the Shop.
Keeping up with the modern fun vibe we added a Unicorn Float as the photo booth. It was the coolest thing ever for Sophia and her friends!
We DIYed a Rainbow Maypole for the girls to dance around and play games. 
Sophia’s jazz instructor and “unicorn” dancers provided entertainment for the girls. They taught the girls modern dance choreographies, they created all kinds of fun games likes freeze dance and limbo. What a festive happy atmosphere our party unicorns provided!
Getting Sophia involved in the creative process of her birthday was definitely a great idea! It made us enjoy the party to the fullest! Cheers to many Mom and Daughter future parties!
